What is Siza Vintage? It's a box...but above all, it is a limited print luxury artistic edition.

 

We took to reliving fifteen buildings designed by Pritzker Laureate Álvaro Siza Vieira in Portugal and present you fifteen photographs, fifteen critical short texts and one silkscreen print.

 

A box that reinterprets the work of one of the greatest living contemporary architects, under the light of the passage of time the appropriation by its inhabitants, and the personal experience each of the box's authors drew upon after closely inhabiting Siza Vieira's spaces.

 

Reneging on the immediacy to which architecture has subjected itself to, in this day and age of perpetual information, Siza Vintage will contemporarily contextualize the themes underlying to the architectural trade, through the particular vision of a photographer, an architect and an illustrator, from our diverse perspectives, albeit all more than connected to spatial practices and the reflexion on the role of Space and imaginary perceptions.
